Turkeys gobble and sleep,
And then they eat and sleep some more.
They don’t know that Thanksgiving is coming,
The end to the sleeping and eating draws near.
Soon I’ll miss their feather puff madness,
But I’ll dig into the feast without sadness.
No more turkeys will gobble and sleep and eat.
