Born in a manger filled with gold hay,
Wise men and shepherds rejoiced that day.
Wise man with precious gift, shepherd his life,
Christ in the manger, Christ on the cross,
Great is the Lord’s love for us.
Born in the manger, asleep in the hay,
All God’s creation rejoiced that day.
