Many of you know that we are involved with the pipeline fight in the region. Well we’re excited to share with you that the 2nd Annual Flatline the Pipeline event is happening this Sunday, June 5th! See below for details!
Preserve Franklin to Raise FUN (and funds) at the 2nd Annual Flatline the Pipeline Event
Franklin County, Virginia —Franklin County citizens have organized an event to raise awareness and funds for Preserve Franklin, a chapter of the Blue Ridge Environmental Defense League (BREDL). The second annual Flatline the Pipeline FUNRaiser has been a coordinated effort by Chaos Mountain Brewing as well as several local residents. The event will feature live music from the band Train Wreck as well as food by Hot Stones Pizza. Many local businesses donated items for the silent auction, raffle and a live auction. Funds raised will be used to further the efforts of outreach and education of Preserve Franklin within their local community. The Flatline the Pipeline FUNraiser is a family-friendly, FREE event and an opportune time for locals to meet others from the community and get involved with fellow pipeline fighters throughout the region.
This event is open to the public and press. Speakers will be available for interviews.
