WHY buy a whole or half hog from Four Corners Farm (FCF)?
#1 It’s a great way to SAVE money on quality meat! At only $3.50 per pound (whole) or $3.75 per pound (half) – you’re getting high end cuts (like chops & tenderloin) at an incredible price! Don’t forget the sausage and bacon, too!
#2 It’s nutritious & good for you! Our pigs are raised outdoors and rotated through woods and pastures, ranging free and happy. Less stress + good grass = happy hogs! This means our pigs have no need for hormones, anti-depressants, and antibiotics (which are often used in CAFO’s). Happy hogs = healthy pork!
#3 It tastes great! Our pork is raised purely on pasture and simply supplemented with non-GMO grains. Combined with the fact that the USDA processing facility we use is meticulous in leaving out all additives and preservatives – our pork truly is tasty! Once you try it, it’s hard to go back to conventionally (CAFO) raised pork!
#4 It’s good for the earth! Yep – that’s right! Consider CAFO raised pigs. They live on a slab of concrete in a huge barn with thousands of other pigs. All of their excrement must go somewhere. There are usually manure ponds to capture all this waste (NOT good for the earth!). As mentioned above, our pigs are rotated throughout our farm and range free – they are co-laborers on the land and clear underbrush and weeds. Our pigs help bring restoration to the earth!

Reservations are $100 (for either whole or half) and this fee is taken off the final total. There are also additional fees due directly to the processor (more information HERE).
